Nike drops eco-friendly, plant-based Air Max 95

Gelo Lasin

Seeing as environmental probs are a huge thing nowadays (FYI: Coffee is officially endangered), it’s pretty cool to see that brands are stepping up in terms of giving a crap about our surroundings.

Nike is kicking off this year’s sustainable footwear movement by revamping its iconic Air Max 95 and Blazer Low.

This eco-friendly iteration sees the models’ canvas uppers paired with multi-colored, plant-based dyes.

There’s no word yet on a price tag and official release date, but the ‘Plant Color Collection’ pack is expected to debut sometime in Summer 2019.
