Saucony reveals the all-new Liberty ISO

We The Pvblic

Maintaining its relentless commitment to both the runner and performance innovation, Saucony launches the all-new Liberty ISO, a high-performance, lightweight trainer that builds on the DNA of the brand’s highly-successful Freedom ISO.

“The design of the Liberty ISO and the Freedom ISO run parallel,” said Pat O’Malley, Senior Vice President of Global Product for Saucony.“The Freedom ISO has been the most successful product launch we’ve experienced over the past few years. The Liberty ISO builds on the genes of the Freedom, Saucony’s first-ever performance running shoe with a full-length EVERUN midsole. The Liberty augments the Freedom’s DNA with added guidance in the form of a lightweight medial TPU bridge for runners wanting just a little extra stability. With the Liberty ISO, now even more runners can be free to go farther.”

The Liberty ISO features the brand’s racing-inspired ISOFIT dynamic upper, an ultra-soft, inner fit-sleeve crafted out of stretchable air mesh that morphs to the foot for a sock-like feel. Plus, the medial TPU guidance frame cups the inside of the midsole to provide you a dash of medial support. The first stability shoe to have a full-length EVERUN midsole, the Liberty ISO delivers EVERUN’s energetic and responsive ride. Most cushioning noticeably changes over time, Saucony’s game-changing EVERUN doesn’t. It’s 3X more durable and 3X less temperature-sensitive than EVA, for a consistent response and a livelier sensation from the start of your run through the life of your shoe. Twice as flexible as standard cushioning, EVERUN moves with your foot for a remarkably smooth landing, stable transition, and powerful takeoff. The additional EVERUN Topsole layer directly under the sockliner also provides a difference you can instantly feel, distributing pressure more evenly and giving you unparalleled comfort with improved responsiveness−no matter how long the run.

At a fun run event, avid runners Yael Yuzon, Ting Joson, and Ebe Dancel shared their experience running with the Liberty ISO for the first time. Sponge Cola vocalist and avid runner Yael Yuzon shared, “It’s super light and highly breathable like I can wiggle my toes inside comfortably. The best thing about my experience is that I actually ran my fastest 5k without trying. I’m guessing this thing’s propelled me into achieving that 24-minute 54-second 5k. I did not see that coming so pretty good.”

Meanwhile, race organizer and fitness instructor Ting Joson said, “I’m so happy it’s Stability shoes. I’ve been looking for a good pair and this is it. I was surprised that it’s very light and it felt like a neutral shoe so I’m happy about that. I love the toebox. It’s perfect.”

Multi-awarded singer/songwriter and avid runner Ebe Dancel added, “I absolutely love it. The Liberty ISO is perfect because the heel support is excellent. These are great. These are fantastic.”
